What a lush summer. The garden was so happy and green in August. And when the hazelnuts were ripe, Wolfgang and his squirrel-colleagues went crazy. Who finds the woodpecker in the pictures?

Thank you Tanja! because of corona virus, I had the privilege to stay on the country side the whole summer. It was a very different experience to see the flora and fauna everyday growing and flourishing.

Good for you. I remember being envious of your summer retreat. There is much to be learned by really living through the season in one location that we would otherwise miss,

As the hazels are ripe in the moment he and his gang are there two or three times a day. I heard from squirrels being not shy at all, but those don’t come closer than maybe 3 meters. They are still wild.
